DeRoyal® Thermo-Form Thumb Splints

DeRoyal® Thermo-Form Thumb Splints DeRoyal’s low-profile Thermo-Form Thumb Splints offer the benefits of a custom molded splint—comfort and compliance. Thermo-Form Thumb Splints feature an internal pocket that houses the thermoplastic insert. Insert can be molded directly on the patient and then inserted into the splint pocket, or molded directly in the pocket by heating the entire product in hot water until the insert is malleable.

Thermo-Form Thumb splints are available in three lengths to provide the appropriate amount of stabilization to the thumb and surrounding joints based on the injury or condition. Short and Medium lengths are indicated for thumb osteo- or rheumatoid arthritis,

MCP joint injuries (i.e. collateral ligament strains, arthritis, or tendon lacerations), MCP fusion, tendonitis, or joint fractures. Long length is indicated for de Quervains, tenosynovitis, arthritis within the radius or radiocarpal joint, tendonitis of the wrist and thumb, joint fractures, flexor/extensor injury/repair, or CMC arthroplasty.

Sizing: Measure wrist circumference.
X-Small fits up to 5"
Small fits 5" to 6"
Medium fits 6" to 7"
Large fits 7" to 8"
X-Large fits 8" to 9"
