AliMed® Easy Access™ Foot Splint

AliMed® Easy Access™ Foot Splint accommodates even the bulkiest dressings. Allows unlimited access to foot so dressings are easy to change. Perfect for Harrington rod surgery, healing wounds, neurological patients, or patients who require prolonged bedrest. Stabilized leg rests on a wide open-sided leg trough that is affï¬xed to a movable foot plate. Access to foot and dressing is unhindered, even with most external fixators. Foot does not rotate medially or laterally. Foot trough and leg plate form a wide U-shaped base that stabilizes foot in an upright position. Footplate locks at 70° or 95° or can be securely positioned at other angles of plantar flexion or dorsiiï¬exion by adjusting bilateral straps. Heel cutout protects against ulceration. Angled leg trough lifts heel off bed. Soft, 1-1⁄2"-thick egg-crate liners attach with hook and loop and are easily replaced.
