AliMed® D2™ Night Splint

AliMed® D2™ Night Splint  Most night splints fail because they force the foot into a 90° position and require the patient to tolerate this aggressive stretch for the entire night. The D2 Night Splint overcomes this major source of patient noncompliance by allowing the patient to start with a more gradual stretch and progress as compliance is increased. Degree of stretch can be controlled to provide a tolerable stretch force throughout the night. 
Articulating dorsal shell and adjustable dynamic cord provides a dorsiflexion stretch to help relieve symptoms of plantar fasciitis or provide a low load stretch to achilles tendon and calf muscles after post-op immobilization. Multiple cord hooks permit easy adjustment of cord tension and are numbered, allowing patient to easily gauge progress. Padded terry cloth liner wicks moisture, promoting dry skin and comfortable wear. ROM indicator at hinge allows easy monitoring of progress for documentation. Plush neoprene straps contour to fit foot and calf.  Articulating foot piece and soft bottom enhance safety and comfort during nighttime ambulation.

Sizing:  Medium fits Women’s shoe size 6 to 9-1⁄2, Men’s 5 to 8-1⁄2; Large fits Women’s 10 to 15, Men’s 9 to 14.
