PedAlert® Monitor

PedAlert® Monitor takes the guesswork out of treating patients who have weight-bearing limitation. Monitors weight placed on the lower limb. A warning tone alerts the patient if the prescribed weight threshold is exceeded, providing continuous feedback to help teach weight-bearing compliance. Ideal for patients with hip fractures, hip or knee replacements, foot ulcers, and many other conditions that require weight-bearing limitation or weight-transfer training.

Easy to use and fully operational in minutes. Features a low battery warning, electronic disconnect detection, and adjustable warning tone volume. Model 100 monitors the force placed on the entire foot; Model 120 independently monitors the forefoot and hindfoot, in addition to the entire foot. PedAlert system includes the cast shoe sensor system, electronics module, carry/storage case, connection cable, 9V battery, manual, and warranty. Floor scale is needed to set weight threshold.
