Brace and Shoe Donner Weakness and uncoordinated movements make it a challenge for patients to learn to independently don a footdrop brace and shoe. This ingenious device helps patients gain independence in dressing, allowing facilities to discharge patients at a higher level of independence and lower therapy costs.
Place clip under tongue and over toe to hold open shoe throat. With brace inside, set shoe on platform of donner. Using heel, gently rock donner back and slip toes inside shoe. Slide foot forward while stepping down into shoe. Pop off clip and fasten shoe.
Platform is 5.5"W x 11"L to accommodate most shoe sizes.
