NUTRITION & WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM

Welcome to the METROFIT™ Nutrition Program. Our goal is to help you achieve a healthy lifestyle. We offer nutrition management for weight loss and chronic diseases. At METROFIT™ your success is our top priority, therefore we work with you to find the diet that best fits your lifestyle. Our Registered Dietitian* will ensure you receive medically sound nutrition advice.

A patient enrolled in the METROFIT™ Nutrition Program is required to make a formal 6-week commitment to ensure optimal results. Nutritional sessions are provided weekly or bi-weekly as necessary. The METROFIT™ Nutrition Program will include the following:

1) An initial one hour nutrition assessment and 5 follow up sessions focusing on your specific dietary needs
2) A diet tailored to fit your personal schedule/lifestyle
3) Nutrition education for weight loss and specific medical conditions ( i.e. diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol)
4) Regular email and telephone contact with our Registered Dietitian to ensure compliance with the program
5) A weekly or bi-weekly weigh- in
6) A maintenance program upon reaching your target weight
7) Tips to enhance grocery shopping and cooking techniques

POSTNATAL NUTRITION PROGRAM

Having trouble losing that baby weight? Due to popular demand METROFIT™ now offers a postnatal nutrition program. Our team of specialists will help you get back to your prepregnancy weight. Our postnatal nutrition program offers;
• Group sessions for postnatal mom’s (babies welcome)
• Diet plans tailored to the nursing mom
• Regular email contact with Registered Dietitian to ensure compliance with program
• Free maintenance program once you have achieved ideal body weight
• Nutrition assessment and dietary recall
• Specific diet made to fit your personal lifestyle

* The term Registered Dietitian indicates that the individual has attained a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in nutrition from an accredited college. They must then complete a one year Dietetic internship in a hospital. After completing all the requirements, the individual is eligible to sit for the state approved registered dietitian exam. Upon passing of the exam, the individual may call themselves a “Registered Dietitian”
